The key enhancements that will be available with the New Estimates, with Bundles release are:

For eligible customers, your ezyVet site will automatically update when the feature is available on version 41.0.

No additional permissions are required to access the new Estimates.

Now compatible with bundles, ezyVet Estimate enhancements eliminate the need for workarounds and provide more accurate financials, reducing time spent comparing Estimates to Invoices. The Estimates feature enhancements are designed to save clinical staff time, increase accuracy, and reduce uncomfortable conversations by aligning customer expectations and treatment cost.

YES! Bundles can now be added, edited, deleted, declined or restored with the new Estimate enhancements.

• We have kept the overall flow largely unchanged to make it as easy as possible for users to switch to the new Estimates screen.
  • Simply click “New Estimate” from a patient’s Clinical Record to get started.
    • Estimates can also be created from the general Financial Tab or from the Financial Tab of a Client, Patient, or Clinical Record’s Financial Tab.

• Fill out some key details for the estimate like the Estimate name and who it is for. Click “create” to finalize these details and begin adding products.
  • A “fast follow” update shortly after release will allow users to edit some details after finalizing.

• Use the new product dropdown to search and add items to the Estimate, including Bundles! Once a Bundle has been added, click the edit button to view the Bundle items and select which items should be included.

• You no longer need to ‘Save’ an Estimate every time you make changes. Built in auto-save means that your changes are being saved automatically as your work so that you’re able to leave the Estimates and come back to finish off when suits.

ezyVet does not support Sales Templates with Estimates for the mid-October release, this will be available in Q1 2025. ezyVet sites utilizing Sales Templates have been excluded from the mid-October release.

The recommended preparation is to review existing Bundles configuration or create new Bundles to support common treatments to ensure that they’re ready for use within the Estimate. The first release of New Estimate, with Bundles does not support Sales Templates with Estimates, instead, the Estimates feature utilizes Bundles, which are pre-configured groups of products that have adjustable or fixed pricing based on the settings.

Yes, the New Estimates with Bundles enhancements now include a built in auto-save feature, which means that your changes are being saved automatically as you work so that you’re able to leave the Estimates and come back to finish off when suits. The Estimate will be locked and no longer editable once it has been shared with a client, or when you manually update the status to ‘Mark as Sent,’ ‘Accept,’ 'Disable' or ‘Decline.’

First up our focus is all about support for Bundles! Customers are encouraged to configure Bundles on their site to preconfigure set billing templates for routine procedures. Both fixed and variable priced Bundles are supported. Support for Sales Templates will come at the start of 2025, sites should configure Bundles in the meantime.

We also now support automatic status updates for signed Estimates, so encourage the usage of Remote Signatures of Estimates to save staff members’ time. Learn more here

The legacy Estimates functionality is no longer available for newly created estimates on your ezyVet site.

Previously created legacy estimates will remain viewable and editable with the legacy interface when opened. These legacy estimates cannot be copied or requoted and should be recreated through the new screen if required.
