The team at IDEXX is excited to take the wraps off docs.ezyvet.com – the new home of the ezyVet Knowledge Center.
The new Knowledge Center is the result of many months of listening to your pain points and frustrations with documentation in the ezyVet Help tab. The new Knowledge Center is our solution—and one that will make it much quicker and easier for you to learn and use ezyVet.
The new Knowledge Center has many new features—and a beautiful new look-and-feel—that make it a breeze to self-service ezyVet product knowledge. Let's cover a few highlights.
New feature: Search filters
The search system in the new Knowledge Center has search filters that make it much easier to quickly find documentation for a specific product, audience, content type, and more. If you’ve ever found it a challenge to know which content in the Help tab is for ezyVet— as opposed to ezyVet Go, Vet Radar, or ezyVet Scan—you’re sure to love the new search filtering.
Tip: Want to find answers quickly? When you go to the home page of the Knowledge Center, the cursor location is automatically positioned in the search box. This means that you can immediately enter a search term and find content without having to first put your mouse cursor in the search box. Simply type a search term and go!
New feature: Dedicated sections for news and featured content
The Knowledge Center home page and other pages have dedicated sections for news and updates. It’s easier than ever to know about product changes, IDEXX events, pilot programs for new features— and much more.
New feature: Easy sharing
All documentation pages show a quick share button. Use the button to get a page link, or to easily send a documentation page to colleagues or clients.
New feature: Feedback form
All documentation pages show a feedback form. Come across a documentation page that doesn’t give you the answers that you need? Use the form to tell us! A dedicated documentation team will look at your feedback and add updated content.
New feature: Full public access
Compared to the ezyVet Help tab, you don’t need to sign in to ezyVet to get access to documentation. The Knowledge Center and its content is fully available without sign-in. Self-help is a breeze with access to documentation anywhere and from any device.
(Note that all Knowledge Center screens show a Sign in button, but sign-in is not available for ezyVet customers.)
What’s next?
For all customers, docs.ezyvet.com is the replacement for product documentation that is in the ezyVet Help tab. The Help tab documentation remains available for access until a planned removal of the documentation at the end of 2024. This change also means that as of October 30, 2024, the Help tab documentation is not maintained. So, be sure to use docs.ezyvet.com as your only resource for accurate documentation.
The new Knowledge Center and planned removal of Help tab documentation does not affect ezyVet’s standard operating procedures feature. All customers will continue to access and use standard operating procedures in the same location in the Help tab.
We’re thrilled to deliver this next phase in better self-service for ezyVet products. The new Knowledge Center is the beginning of many more self-service improvements planned for 2025. We’d love to hear your feedback.
